Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using MasomoFiti, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy and Cookie Policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use of account, payment, and communication features where appropriate.

The MasomoFiti Service

MasomoFiti is an independent Kenyan educational platform providing KCSE, KJSEA, and KCBE papers, marking schemes, revision notes, topical and substrand revision, schemes of work, predictions, and related exam-preparation resources.

Resource availability changes as files are added, corrected, replaced, or removed. A subject, year, set, or placeholder appearing on the website does not guarantee that every related file is already available.

Free Resources

Resources marked as free may be viewed or downloaded without payment, subject to reasonable download limits and security checks. Free access does not transfer ownership or permit resale, public redistribution, or commercial exploitation.

Paid Resources and M-Pesa

Some marking schemes, question papers, topical resources, schemes of work, or other files may require payment. The price shown in the payment window immediately before you continue is the price for that transaction and resource.

• Payments are initiated through Safaricom M-Pesa STK Push using the phone number you enter.
• Paid access is granted only after MasomoFiti receives a successful payment confirmation. An accepted, pending, cancelled, timed-out, or failed request is not proof of payment.
• A successful purchase applies to the specific resource shown at checkout, unless the website expressly states otherwise.
• You may re-download the same purchased resource for free for 30 days by using the same M-Pesa phone number. After that period, another payment may be required.
• You are responsible for entering the correct phone number and approving only the payment request you intended to make.

Licence and Downloads

MasomoFiti grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use an accessed resource for your own study, teaching, or internal school preparation. Where downloading is enabled, you may keep the downloaded copy for that permitted educational use.

You may not resell, sublicense, publish, mass-distribute, or make the resource publicly available. Access controls and the 30-day re-download period do not change these licence restrictions.

Accounts and Google Sign-In

Some features may require an account or Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for keeping access to your Google account and device secure. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person or use another person's payment details without permission.

Ratings and Contributions

Where ratings or reviews are available, submit only genuine, relevant feedback based on your experience with the resource. Verified-payment indicators may be used to distinguish feedback associated with a confirmed purchase.

You grant MasomoFiti permission to display and use submitted feedback for operating and improving the service. We may remove spam, abusive, misleading, unlawful, irrelevant, or manipulated submissions.

Watermarks and Access Controls

Resources may contain visible or embedded watermarks for personalisation, access verification, and misuse prevention. A watermark may include a supplied name or school, a phone-linked or transaction-linked identifier, receipt reference, timestamp, or similar purchase information.

You must not remove, obscure, crop, alter, or bypass a watermark, signed link, preview restriction, payment control, or other protection applied to a resource.

Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Resell, rent, sublicense, commercially exploit, or publicly redistribute MasomoFiti resources without written permission.
• Upload purchased files to other websites, public repositories, social platforms, messaging groups, or file-sharing services.
• Share private links, signed download URLs, receipts, account access, or payment verification details to give others unauthorised access.
• Bypass payment, preview, download, rate-limit, authentication, or security controls.
• Use bots, scraping, bulk downloads, automated requests, or other activity that disrupts or places unreasonable load on the service.
• Introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, probe vulnerabilities, or interfere with another user's use of the service.
• Submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or impersonating content through ratings, requests, uploads, or support channels.

Refunds and Payment Problems

Because paid resources are digital products, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted or a file has been made available. This does not limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Duplicate charges, confirmed payments that did not grant access, or other payment errors may be reviewed case by case. Contact info@masomofiti.co.ke with the M-Pesa phone number, receipt number, approximate transaction time, and resource involved. Do not publish these payment details publicly.

Accuracy and Resource Availability

Resources are provided for educational and revision purposes. We work to keep files accurate and correctly labelled, but errors, omissions, incomplete files, outdated content, upload mistakes, or temporary interruptions may occur. You should check the resource title, subject, year, paper, and set before relying on it.

Prediction papers, samples, and revision resources are study aids and are not guarantees of actual examination questions, grades, outcomes, or official approval unless expressly identified as official.

Intellectual Property

MasomoFiti and its licensors reserve their rights in the website design, software, organisation, branding, logos, notes, diagrams, explanations, original study materials, and other protected content.

Examination papers, school papers, names, and other third-party materials may belong to their respective rights holders. MasomoFiti does not claim ownership where those rights belong to others. A rights holder may contact info@masomofiti.co.ke with enough detail for us to review a correction or removal request.

Independent Platform

MasomoFiti is not affiliated with or endorsed by KNEC, the Ministry of Education, Safaricom, Google, any named school, or another third party unless expressly stated. References to curricula, examinations, institutions, services, and trademarks are used for identification and educational context.

Advertising and External Services

MasomoFiti may display clearly separated third-party advertising and links. An advertisement or external link does not mean MasomoFiti endorses the advertiser, product, website, or claim. Third-party services, including Google and Safaricom, operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Suspension or Termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment abuse, scraping, security risks, unlawful activity, repeated violations, or harm to the service or other users. We may also restrict excessive free downloads while reviewing suspicious activity.

Disclaimer

MasomoFiti is provided on an as-available basis for educational support. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every file will be error-free, or that use of a resource will produce a particular academic result.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MasomoFiti will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the service, reliance on educational materials, payment or network delays, third-party interruptions, or resource availability.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms when the service or law changes. The current terms and last-updated date will appear on this page. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be handled by the courts or other competent dispute-resolution bodies in Kenya, subject to rights that apply under Kenyan law.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
